You are going to be a lucky guy upon your arrival in Xian. Your tour guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your warm hotel. In the morning, you will visit the life-size Terracotta Warriors, China's first emperor's incredible underground army made to protect him in afterlife.
After lunch, you sightseeing today will be carried on to the Ancient City Wall of Xian. It is the largest ancient city-defensive construction in the world. The New Year Lantern Fair will be held during the nights on the city wall. Then you will be escorted to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is regarded as the most precious Buddhist Pagoda in China and the symbol of Xian city.
In the evening, your tour guide will bring you back to the Ancient City Wall to join the New Year Lantern Fair, which is an interesting activity in Chinese New Year Lantern Festival .
After breakfast, you will visit the Great Mosque and Muslim community before your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. Your tour guide in Chengdu will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. You will have the famous hot spicy "Tongue Numbing" Sichuan dishes for your dinner. Get your mouth and tongue prepared for the challenge.
On this day you will be driven about 2 hours to Leshan to visit the Giant Buddha carved out of the cliffs at the confluence of the Dadu, Minjiang and Qingyi Rivers.
You will be taken to Mt. Emei to visit Baoguo Temple, where is famous for the ancient bronze bell.
You will stay overnight at the foot of Mt. Emei. It is the highest of China's four holy Buddhist Mountains. It is well-known for its sunrise, sea of clouds and the adorable monkeys. Enjoy your stay in Mt. Emei.
Today you will tour the Mt. Emei to see its extraordinary natural scenery by taking the cable car up to the Golden Summit and the Wannian Temple. Then you will walk to Qingyinge - China's biggest natural ecology reserve area for monkeys before back to Chengdu.
The tour on this day will bring you to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base first. You will see many adorable pandas in close distance, even get chance to cradle baby pandas in your arms.
Followed by a trip to the Wenshu Temple where you can spend some time sitting in its tea house to have a cup of tea and absorb the special leisure atmosphere of Chengdu.
China celebrates the first full moon of the year with Spring Lantern. So in the evening, you could enjoy the lunar New Year's exhibit of lanterns in the park. When you tired or hungry, you could relax yourself with the delicious local snacks，and appreciate the folk shows. It is a good chance to view real life of Chinese people today.
