The Chinese Zodiac--Rabbit

The Rabbit is the fourth animal in the Chinese Zodiac. Most commonly referred to as the year of the Rabbit, it is also referred to as the year of the Hare. During the year of the Rabbit pregnant women refrain from eating rabbit meat because Rabbits have harelips and it is believed that the baby will have a harelip also.

Years of the Rabbit:

If you were born on the following dates, you were born during the year of the Rabbit. Since the Chinese Lunar Calendar varies from the Western Gregorian calendar, the dates of the year differ. If your birthday lands before the listed dates, you were actually born during the year of the Tiger.
